1: Service and Support Engineer/Technician

We are a small dynamic company supplying machines and services to the semiconductor industry. A vacancy exists to help support our customers and suppliers with technical products. An understanding of electrical and mechanical products is required.

The role is varied and can range from assisting customer installations through to supporting sales and commercial staff.
Experience of production tools would be an advantage but not a requirement as would any cleanroom experience.
Participation in the development and building of a new vision based tool which includes motion stages and proprietary software is also possible. Whilst the position is mainly office based in Southampton there are overseas travel possibilities as well as to UK customers.

2: Administrative Assistant

A varied job exists to support existing administration staff dealing with all aspects of the commercial process. The tasks will initially involve working behind the scenes contacting suppliers for pricing, preparing quotes and will also involve maintaining our customer and supplier databases.

The position will support existing staff and involve liaison both with customers and suppliers on an international basis. Currently we use Office 365 Xero and Sage

For the right person this position may progress into a customer support, accounts, or a marketing position.

3: Windows Programmer

This is an exciting time for our company with several new products to launch in the high technology and semiconductor sector.
We are looking for a competent person who can assist in building and testing of our new vision inspection system.

Vision Inspection products:
We have developed a system that optically inspects microchips on the factory floor of microchip manufacturers. The job initially will focus on hardening of code in the current GUI and development of new tests and features which are driven by our customers requirements.

The job will include travel, initially within the UK to customer locations, to understand their exact needs then work with them from our office to deliver solutions.

Skills Required

- Experience in c# using Visual Studio for GUI design.
- A background in image manipulation and analysis, using raw image data.
- Ability to show problem solving skills

Any mechanical engineering experience would also be an advantage as feedback from customers can also impact mechanical design.

The correct attitude and flexibility is key to this role.
